Message from the CEO
Founded in Japan in January 2005, Agility Asset Advisors Inc. is an asset management company specializing in real estate investment, and this year marks its 20th anniversary. As Japan continues to endure the lost 30 years following the collapse of the bubble economy, we have faced numerous storms, including the global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, and as we have worked diligently to respond to these challenges, our business has undergone major changes.
When it was first established, the company specialized in asset management of domestic residential properties, but has now transformed into a company that organically manages a wide range of domestic real estate, including residential, office, commercial, hotel, logistics, data center, and renewable energy properties, for both domestic and international investors. In July 2016, the company became a subsidiary of Philip Capital Group, a major comprehensive financial group in Singapore, and in November 2024, it entered into a capital and business alliance with Gaw Capital Partners, a major real estate fund management company with a global presence based in Hong Kong and Singapore, further transforming it into a unique real estate management company originating from Japan with an open network worldwide.
Since our founding, our focus has been on domestic real estate investment (inbound investment) by institutional investors and wealthy individuals in Southeast Asia and elsewhere. However, in January 2019, we launched Agility Asset Management (Singapore) Ltd (commonly known as AAM), which oversees our overseas real estate-related business, with the aim of assisting domestic institutional investors and business companies with overseas real estate investment (outbound investment). With AAM as a hub, we have expanded our local subsidiaries to Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand, and by utilizing the group's network and local information from partners, we provide a wide range of services for real estate investment in major overseas regions, including Southeast Asia and the United States.
We are confident that the experience we have cultivated over our 20-year history will be of great use not only to investors but also to those in the real estate industry, and we look forward to your continued patronage.
